Future Members
I believe in commitment and enthusiasm in the lab from everyone, including myself. I am a committed mentor, and expect my lab to show the same sense of responsibility to their research projects.
Due to funding restrictions, you will need the following requirements to join the lab :
- Previous lab experience.
- Immunology and/or parasitology background.
- GPA greater than 3.7.
- For post-docs: strong publication record.
Summer Positions

Every summer, I hire one to two undergraduate research assistants to work in the lab from May 1-Aug. 31. If you are interested, please contact me in late December/early January.

Eligible students will be required to apply for scholarships. Deadlines are late January.
Course-based Positions

I am always happy to supervise independent studies and honours projects. If you are interested, please contact me a semester/term before you want to start.
MSc/PhD

I am always open to enquiries from prospective graduate students at both the M.Sc. and Ph.D. levels. I expect PhD students to develop their own projects, with my guidance. The precise area depends on available funding. MSc students are given some choice in their projects based on our discussions.

Graduate students are funded through a combination of TAships, scholarships, fellowships and my research grants. All students are expected to apply for any funding they are eligible for.
Post-Doctoral Fellows
I am always open to enquiries from prospective post-docs. Post-docs with their own fellowships who have a strong background in immuno-parasitology will be favoured.
